Kids These Days of the Day: We knew it! A new study published in the journal Pediatrics has found that infants living in households with dogs are healthier and have fewer infections.
Though cats also appear to offer some immune protections, the link isn’t as strong.
The study, based on 397 children who live in Finland, found that “the children having dogs at home were healthier, they had less ear infections and they needed less antibiotics,” reports pediatrician Eija Bergroth, the study’s lead author.
Parents shouldn’t feel guilty about having or not having a pet when their child is young. If you want a pet, get a pet.

I miss playing in these..
We need to have an “adult version”. People would be so much healthier! You burn a lot of calories climb all over the place just to get to the slide at the top. And then I can stop “borrowing” my friend’s niece and nephew as an excuse to get me in too..
