Okay guys jesus fuck you realize you are taking this message the WRONG WAY

The American ship is demanding the Canadians change THEIR course 15 degrees because, read it, they are piloting the second largest ship in the Atlantic fleet whilst being accompanied by 3 destroyers, 3 crusiers, and many support vessels.

They aren’t insisting the Canadians are the ones who should change their route 15 degrees because Americans are assholes.

They’re insisting because can you even imagine how DIFFICULT it would be to get all those vessels to cooperate in the route change? Even if it was just the Aircraft Carrier itself, it would be ridiculously difficult to change it’s course because of it’s size. Ever seen one?

The Americans weren’t trying to be assholes. They thought the Canadians were in a significantly smaller vessel, and it would be easier for them to make a 15 degree change to their route.

Jesus christ.

Wait.. wtf is up with “counter-measures will be undertaken to ensure the safety of this ship”?! So instead of changing course they’ll blow us outta the water?! (That is.. if we were a boat and not a lighthouse.)
